My favorite Mexican Restaurant in GJ! I see the ratings aren't wonderful but I give it four stars for two reasons, fast friendly service and big yummy portions!

Best Carne Asada I have ever had!!! Tender like butter, great flavor, not fatty. I got the La Fiesta Special, and everything was very good. Service is fast & friendly. Atmosphere is nice and good decor too.

Very average. I come from New Mexico so maybe I'm biased or spoiled, but so far I have yet to experience any good mexican cuisine. I have all but given up trying to find green chile with any semblance of heat, and I would kill to have a good machaca stuffed sopapilla. I think I may give up mexican restaurants in the area all together and focus my attention to finding at least one American Haute establishments.... surely there is at least one...

Service is so so, if you dine by yourself they do all they can to get you out of there fast. Salsa is one of the best salsa's in the valley though. It's worth the trip just for the chips and salsa.

Do NOT go anywhere else for good Mexican food! This past weekend was our first visit. My son & I went late Friday evening and were so blown away that we returned for lunch the next day so we could bring my husband. It's a little more expensive but our service was excellent and the food was really great. Carne asada tacos for my guys & I had something from the "favoritos" section with a chile relleno, chicken taquito & carne asada. Awesome chips & salsa as well. We'll be coming back here often when we come to visit our son @ school! Good thing we don't live close by!

We come to this restaurant often, their fajitas are very good. I also like their fried burritos and Chile Relleno. Because there are really good coupons available, we often need to top off our balance and in doing so have found that their fried icecream is amazing, especially with their churros! The place is clean, the service is great, one of my favorites.

Where do I start......hmmm for one service sucked balls the waiter kinda threw the chips and salsa our way when we were seated, did not like that at all. The meal its self was really bland and something on my plate was past its time I had the camarones especiales which were supposed to be stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon they did have the bacon but no cheese the beans and rice were kinda smeared on to the plate. All in all its a no way jose for this overpriced weak mexican restaurant

Overpriced! Trying to pay for their remodel. Food is decent just expensive. Good service is rare. We only go when we have a $25 certificate. Much better Mexican food for the price in town.

This is middling Mexican Food. They just remodeled and it looks great, but the food is truly mediocre and a bit over-priced. The servers are professional, and keep your drinks full and the chips & salsa coming. Unless you are just after a few margaritas, I'd look elsewhere for "authentic" Mexican food.

While I would rate at a 3 I have to give it a 2 after my co-worker had the grossest quesadilla that was swimming in an unknown liquid. When the waiter was asked, he said it was from the can that the chicken was in. Again, gross! My meal was decent, but forgetable and my other co-workers chili rellanos were fine. Would not return due to our experience although the service was good.

I used to be a regular here. Five years ago this place would have received four stars, but the prices have almost doubled since then. I like the Mexican chicken, the shrimp al diablo or mojo de ajo and the deep fried tilapia. I did visit after the rebuild - it's not a remodel it's a whole new building, these folks have some serious pesos - and we enjoyed our meal, but again, I think it's overpriced. The service is still first rate. You have water, chips and salsa and a drink order on the way seconds after being seated. This is a very well run establishment.

I am originally from California (and also currently living) but I lived on the Western Slope for about 5 yrs. Mexican food is my favorite, so when I say I know Mexican food, trust that I do! Fiesta's is my favorite! Great food-Friendly service-Good prices. Since recently moving back to CA, my family and I have not found anything that compares =(

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
